The original recipe for Gorki list is a well-kept secret which dates back to 1961. Gorki list owes its recognizable bitter-sweet taste to a unique combination of extracts of medicinal plants, primarily to wormwood. Each of the plants in its composition is precious by itself, and their combination is priceless, for all those who look for pleasure, and take care of the harmony of their body as well.

There are numerous ways of enjoying the favorite bitter liqueur, but only when you drink Gorki list cooled and from the original glass with a slice of orange or lemon, will you feel why it has been so unique for over six decades. 1953 year

The inspiration behind the original taste of GORKI LIST was FERNET, a bitter liqueur whose production was started in the facilities of the traditional manufacturing company Subotičanka back in 1953

1961 year

The now familiar bitter taste of Subotičanka’s GORKI pelinkovac was created, and it has remained the same ever since.

1997 year

With the change of  the ownership structure of the traditional manufacturer Subotičanka, the pelinkovac was re-energized. An original glass was designed.

1998 year

In order to protect the product’s originality, an original cap on pelinkovac bottles was introduced. The slogan THE ONE TRUE ORIGINAL was created at the same time…

2003 year

In order to differentiate GORKI LIST from other pelinkovac products, and on the eve of world promotion of this brand, Subotičanka’s Pelinkovac Gorki was renamed Gorki list (Bitter Leaf) in September 2003.

2003 year

GORKI LIST gets a new package – a new bottle of a unique and easily recognizable shape.

2009 year

The packaging of Gorki list was placed on the market with new red details on the label, but also with a red cap, which conveys the essential brand-related messages – those of love, emotion, and passion.

2013 year

RED LIMITED EDITION – a special Gorki list red-color edition.

2015 year

On the occasion of marking the results of 100 million bottles sold during the past 62 years, GORKI LIST placed a 1250 ml package on the market priced as those of 1000 ml, as a big thank-you to all consumers and business associates for all the years of loyalty.

2016 year

For the purpose of promoting friendship and camaraderie, GORKI LIST surprised its consumers with a PARTY limited series of products labeled with neon details.

2017 year

As a guru of good fun, Gorki list surprised its consumers with the WHITE limited edition, which was created by coating the authentic GORKI LIST bottle with white foil.

2019 year

Inspired by the idea of spreading fun and good vibes to new territories, GORKI LIST started activities for introducing this unique bitter liqueur in two highly challenging and promising markets – Russia and Germany.

2020 year

Today Having become a symbol of the modern, urban generation, GORKI LIST is a true testament to traditionalism inherent in modern times and a choice of sophisticated taste in consuming drinks. Thanks to the loyalty of its consumers, Gorki list is today the leading product in its category in the region (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro), and it is present and develops on the markets of Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, America, Austria, Australia, and Switzerland
